What a great nite we had---we found just enough firewood to get us to bedtime.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The black hills national forest would be our friend most of today.

 

 

 

 

I really got aquainted with the 701 on this ride.
I had a KTM 690 which is very similar----so the ride was not unfamiliar to me at all.
The 690 blew up at 18,000 miles----I hope this one would do much better.
It's got way more horsepower than I ever use---------well occasionally maybe !!!

 

 

 

 

 

Fall is in the air up here---the colors were starting to pop.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Nice fellow we talked to for quite awhile.

I suppose this was the highest elevation we did on this ride ??
About 6,600 ft.

Heck we ended up in a motel in Sturgis that night----a town I've always avoided.
